I have spend several months tutoring young (8 and 10-year-old) children in general education, including elementary math, science, and English. In the past, my experience as editor of a magazine and newspaper, as well as many creative writing classes, have given me the skills to help others reach their writing goals tactfully and efficiently. I scored in the 98th percentile of the ACT English portion, and received a maximum score of five on my AP English test in high school. I'm a patient tutor and I like working with kids to help them understand the concepts they're learning so that they can do the work on their own.
